Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Mylleri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Yeung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mylleri's entrance music is Om du har nåt att säga, säg det till mig!. A fine choice. Yeung has chosen Fluffy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Derrick Yeung is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leo Mylleri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Yeung!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mylleri.
Yeung takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mylleri swinging wildly here.
Mylleri shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yeung eats them both and turns towards Mylleri to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Mylleri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Yeung counters with a straight right hand.

Mylleri decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mylleri prevents Yeung from improving his position.

Yeung is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Yeung is nestled in close to Mylleri, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mylleri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yeung's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yeung's back!

We've been hearing good reports from Mylleri's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mylleri tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yeung defends well and Mylleri ends up having to push Yeung into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mylleri lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mylleri. Yeung does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yeung scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Derrick Yeung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Yeung is looking to stand back up but Mylleri counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Yeung.

Well Mylleri has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Leo Mylleri spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
