Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunteer fails to land with a series of punches.
Hunteer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hunteer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Short sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Short changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Short moves out of range of the strikes.
Short has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Short slips a jab and a cross from Hunteer.

Short closes the distance and pushes Hunteer back into the cage.

Short pulls guard.
Short is pulling down on Hunteer's head to control his posture.

Short wriggles free and stands up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick misses from Short.
Short changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunteer tries to avoid it but Short manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunteer to the ground. Hunteer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hunteer is looking for a counter combo.

Hunteer gets tackled into the cage by Short. Short maintains the clinch.
Hunteer is pressed up against the cage. Short has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hunteer down to the mat. Hunteer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hunteer throws a hook but Short blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hunteer lands a big head kick that sends Short tumbling to the mat! Hunteer takes a step backwards and waves Short back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Short is rocked!

It looks like Bubba Short has been cut.
Hunteer wobbles Short with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Hunteer dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Short to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
