PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Greatwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nuts wants to slow Greatwich down by chopping away at his legs.
Greatwich shoots in looking for a takedown. Nuts tries to sprawl out of it but Greatwich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nuts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Greatwich is looking to clinch but Nuts is avoiding it.

Horrible takedown attempt by Greatwich or perhaps it was just good defense by Nuts, which made it look bad.
Greatwich tries to bum rush Nuts with a series of wild strikes but Nuts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nuts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Greatwich looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
