The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vega moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Vega sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Silva throws a hook but Vega blocks it.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Vega lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Ricardo Silva has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vega.
Vega paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vega scores with a punch to the head.

Silva is rocked!
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vega moves away.

Vega lands a big right hand that sends Silva crashing to the mat! Vega stays standing though and waves Silva back to his feet!
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ricardo Silva's cut is getting worse.
Vega circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Silva tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Vega wins by KO!
