Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry shoots in but no luck this time.

Da Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Perry is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Da Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perry is just riding it out for now. Da Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Da Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A decent looking cross lands there for Da Silva.
Perry darts in looking for a takedown but Da Silva gets double underhooks and turns Perry into the ropes.

Adam Perry's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Da Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perry tries to avoid it but Da Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perry to the ground. Perry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Perry closes the distance and clinches up with Da Silva, looking for a takedown. Perry pushes Da Silva against the ropes but Da Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Perry walks into a stiff left hand from Da Silva.
Perry walks straight into a right hand from Da Silva - that's dropped him! Da Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Perry from any more punishment! Perry complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
