The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chandler drives through with a takedown into Nuts's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nuts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chandler is one step ahead there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Nuts closes the distance and clinches.
Chandler is looking to break free of the clinch but Nuts has double underhooks.
Nuts's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Chandler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Nuts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Chandler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nuts stacks Chandler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nuts!
You can see the frustration on Chandler's face as Nuts controls the position.
Nuts's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chandler tries to lock up and control but Nuts gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Chandler tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nuts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Chandler wants to get back to his feet.
Nuts tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chandler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nuts dives in for a single leg takedown but Chandler sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Michael Chandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nuts has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Chandler regains guard immediately.

Nuts wants to pass the guard but Chandler is keeping the position.
Nuts stops Chandler from standing up.
Nuts won't allow Chandler to sweep him here.
Nuts stands and throws Chandler's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Chandler is letting Nuts control him for a moment.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Chandler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nuts avoids the head kick by Chandler.

Nuts feints and as Chandler raises his hands in defense, Nuts changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chandler enables Nuts to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chandler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chandler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Nuts closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chandler did well to prevent Nuts getting side control.
Chandler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nuts uses his free foot to push down on Chandler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chandler.
