Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Paradeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcom Mandoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paradeda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vale Tudo. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paradeda scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Paradeda throws a leg kick but Mandoza sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Paradeda counters with a nice body shot.
Mandoza's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Paradeda connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mandoza scrambles back to his feet.

Mandoza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mandoza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Paradeda did well to prevent Mandoza getting side control.
