The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ford closes the distance and clinches.
Ford pushes Gracie back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ford manages to pull guard.
Gracie takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ford is keeping the position for now.
Ford is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ford on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ford tries to get out of the position.
Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Gracie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ford is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After the fight, Gustavo Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
