Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Do San is keeping the position.
Silva postures up.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do San swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silva works to advance to full mount. Do San defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Do San frees his head quite easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do San slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Do San knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Do San is breathing heavily.

Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Do San kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Do San is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Silva.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Silva has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Do San is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Silva yanks on the arm and Do San is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Silva.
