The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iceman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chandler defends well and Iceman ends up having to push Chandler into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Michael Chandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chandler moves into the clinch successfully.

Iceman is trying to force a seperation but Chandler has the dominant position.

Iceman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chandler manages to get himself to full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chandler holds on and takes a little breather.

Chandler pulls Iceman in close to his closed guard and prevents Iceman from doing any damage or advancing position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Iceman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chandler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chandler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chandler!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Iceman misses with a kick to the body
and Chandler counters with a low kick, right behind Iceman 's knee.
Iceman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chandler as he avoids it easily.

Chandler lands a big head kick that sends Iceman tumbling to the mat! Chandler takes a step backwards and waves Iceman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Chandler rattles Iceman with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Iceman tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Chandler dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Iceman stiff and motionless on the mat!
