Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shevchenko's guard.
Guy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guy tries to free his leg and advance position but Shevchenko is retaining full guard.
Guy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Guy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Shevchenko lands a left and a right that send Guy crashing to the mat, dazed. Shevchenko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like That Guy has been cut.
Guy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shevchenko lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Guy head around and knocks him out cold! Shevchenko hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergei Shevchenko!
