Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingston is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2pac - I'm Soulja. Nate Kingston has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kingston is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ash knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ash is looking to regain half guard here but Kingston keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Kingston has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ash is landing a low percentage of strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Ash will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ash throws an overhand right that lands on Kingston's shoulder, as Kingston tries to avoid the shot.
Ash throws a looping overhand right but Kingston ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kingston uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ash has time to react.

and Ash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kingston pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ash back to the cage. Kingston follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kingston misses with a looping left.
Kingston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ash looks for a takedown but Kingston sprawls well.
Kingston misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ash shoots in looking for a takedown. Kingston tries to sprawl out of it but Ash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kingston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kingston takes one to the chin there.

Ash drives through with a takedown into Kingston's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
