Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sandor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ferreira's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ferreira works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ferreira controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.
Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Ferreira is retaining full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nice takedown defense from Ferreira. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ferreira sprawls well. Ferreira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

and Ferreira counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sandor Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Ferreira gets in close and instigates a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferreira cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Silva looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ferreira finish him?

Ferreira connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Silva out cold! This one is over in a flash!
