Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Abreu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turk closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Abreu's guard.
Turk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Abreu's guard.

Turk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Abreu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Turk.

Turk seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abreu is pressing down on Turk's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Turk stays in close to Abreu's body and controls the position.

Turk stands up over Abreu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turk stands up over Abreu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Turk pushes down on Abreu's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Turk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Abreu knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Turk is keen to just control but Abreu is a slippery customer.

Turk is nestled in close to Abreu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A big strike lands for Turk! That's really hurt Abreu and he's turned his back - Turk keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Turk jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
