Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ambrose Chisholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Takashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ambrose Chisholm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chisholm keeps Takashi at a distance using the push kick.
Chisholm throws a head kick that misses.
Chisholm fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takashi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Chisholm lands a head kick. Takashi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Takashi thuds a left hand into Chisholm's body.
Chisholm thumps Takashi with a low kick.
Takashi tries to bum rush Chisholm with a series of wild strikes but Chisholm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chisholm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Chisholm lands a high kick to the side of Takashi's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Chisholm dives into guard, looking to finish.


Takashi is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chisholm looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Takashi is still in real trouble! Can Chisholm finish him?
Chisholm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Takashi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chisholm throwing strikes but missing.
Chisholm controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Takashi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Takashi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chisholm controls the pace.
Takashi seems to have recovered his senses.

Takashi has his foot on Chisholm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chisholm works his way back into a safe position though.

Takashi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chisholm defends well.

Chisholm drops back looking for a leg! Takashi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Takashi manages to kick Chisholm off! Chisholm jumps back into Takashi's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Takashi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chisholm wants to pass the guard but Takashi is keeping the position.
Takashi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chisholm desperately trying to maintain half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Takashi stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chisholm to get to his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Takashi. Those never looked like landing.
Chisholm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A combination from Takashi does no damage.
Takashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ken Takashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chisholm lands a head kick that stumbles Takashi and the fighters go to the mat.
Chisholm keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Takashi's head.

Chisholm controlling from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takashi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chisholm trying to control the position from guard on top but Takashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chisholm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Chisholm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takashi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Takashi is controlling Chisholm's posture.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Takashi controls Chisholm momentarily but Chisholm frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Chisholm moves out of range of the strikes.
A slow jab from Takashi misses its intended target.
Chisholm avoids a kick to the body.
Chisholm throws a sloppy head kick and Takashi moves out of range easily.
As Chisholm backs off Takashi throws a huge counter combo but Chisholm manages to avoid it all.
Chisholm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chisholm looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Takashi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chisholm manages to avoid it.
Takashi falls off balance throwing a combination

and Chisholm counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Takashi tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Chisholm wants to free his trapped foot but Takashi is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Takashi is looking for a sweep. Chisholm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ambrose Chisholm dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Chisholm. Takashi shrugs it off though.
Takashi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Chisholm blocks a jab.
Takashi wants to clinch.
Chisholm tries to counter with a takedown but Takashi is quick to defend against it.
Takashi misses with a looping right.
Takashi looks to score with a jab to the body but Chisholm is just out of range.
Takashi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That kick from Chisholm tenderised Takashi's leg. Takashi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Chisholm connects with a solid leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takashi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chisholm tries to counter with a takedown but Takashi is quick to defend against it.
Chisholm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takashi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chisholm can pounce on him.
Chisholm slips a jab and a cross from Takashi.

Chisholm knocks Takashi to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Takashi is looking for a sweep.
Chisholm misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Chisholm is looking to take a break and control but Takashi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Takashi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chisholm haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Chisholm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takashi on the ground.
Chisholm throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Takashi is being controlled here.
Chisholm has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Takashi wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Chisholm.

Takashi manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Chisholm not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ambrose Chisholm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Takashi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Chisholm wants to sweep but no luck.
Takashi throws a big elbow that misses.
Chisholm looking to control.
Chisholm looking to hit a scissor sweep but Takashi is one step ahead there.

Chisholm has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Takashi off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Chisholm throws a nice inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ambrose Chisholm dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Takashi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Takashi throws a series of punches but Chisholm moves out of range.
The fighters circle, before Chisholm throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Takashi's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Chisholm lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Ambrose Chisholm!
