Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horace Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William has chosen You Can't Break My Soul as his entrance music. Sean William will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Horace Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean William!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William misses with a kick to the body.
Sosa wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Sosa forces William back against the cage and clinches.
William struggles to land a body shot inside as Sosa controls his hands.
Sosa really is a fat lump.
William is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
William is trying to pull guard but Sosa has him pressed against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from William.

Sosa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sosa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

William gets a clinch.
William is trying to pull guard but Sosa has him pressed against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sosa is on top in guard.

Sosa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
William is looking to clinch.

Sosa drags the fight down to the ground.
Sosa looking to hit a scissor sweep but William is one step ahead there.
William must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sean William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

William closes the distance and clinches.
Sosa takes a shot to the head.
William lands a shot to the body.

Sosa jumps guard and drags William to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sosa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Sosa is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

William tries to get to full guard but Sosa has control of the leg.

Sosa decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Sosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sosa wants it to stay on the feet.
Horace Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean William.

William clinches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sosa jumps into guard, dragging William to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
William in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
William looking to sit in guard and control but Sosa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

William gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sosa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics William uses from the top position.

William might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sosa haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

William fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sosa manages to avoid it.

Sosa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
William wants to clinch.

Sosa pulls guard effortlessly.
Sosa wants to sweep but no luck.
William seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
William wants to stand and escape but instead Sosa has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Sosa gets to his feet. William looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
William tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sosa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
William is looking to clinch but Sosa is avoiding it.

Sosa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
William controlling the position well.

Sosa postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for William to stand up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

William fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sosa, pushing him back against the cage.
William tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sosa pulls guard successfully.
Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


William tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sosa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

William takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Sosa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As William tries to get set, Sosa tries to push him back and clinch up but William manages to avoid the attempt.

William shoots for a double leg takedown but Sosa sprawls well. He's pushed William's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
William wants to clinch.
Sean William has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
William shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sosa as he jumps to the side.
Sosa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
William tries to clinch up but Sosa circles away and keeps his distance.
William tries to close the distance and clinch but Sosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horace Sosa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
William fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sosa tries to counter by clinching up but William breaks away and moves out of range.
William misses with a straight right.

William darts in and clinches Sosa up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sosa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
William wants to clinch up but Sosa keeps it at a distance.

Sosa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sosa stands up and waves to William to follow him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
William wants to clinch
and Sosa counters with a two punch combo.

Horace Sosa showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sosa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
