Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matsui Takamatsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystyn Suliaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takamatsu comes to the cage accompanied by Dogs of War. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Matsui Takamatsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Krystyn Suliaw!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamatsu avoids the head kick by Suliaw.
Takamatsu is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Suliaw.
Suliaw gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Suliaw taking a breather.
Takamatsu throws an elbow that misses.
Suliaw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takamatsu checks a leg kick nicely.
Suliaw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takamatsu.
Takamatsu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Suliaw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Takamatsu darts in and clinches Suliaw up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Suliaw scores with a nice short uppercut.
Suliaw is working Takamatsu over against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Suliaw fails to land.
Suliaw slowing the pace effectively.
Suliaw lands a nice shot to the body.
Suliaw working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Suliaw blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Takamatsu misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamatsu fails to pull guard.
Suliaw pushes Takamatsu back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Suliaw.
A short uppercut from Suliaw.
Suliaw lands with a left to the head.
Suliaw swings wildly with an uppercut but Takamatsu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Suliaw avoiding damage.
Takamatsu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Takamatsu tries for a takedown but Suliaw manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matsui Takamatsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takamatsu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Suliaw avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Takamatsu tries to pull guard but Suliaw won't allow it.
Takamatsu successfully pulls guard.
Takamatsu has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Suliaw doesn't defend quickly enough and Takamatsu has managed to lock this one up! Can Suliaw escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Takamatsu on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matsui Takamatsu!
