The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee walks into a left hand.
Badoyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Badoyan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McGee checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Oooooh!!! Badoyan has knocked McGee down with a huge combo! Badoyan steps away and waves a wobbly McGee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Tiny McGee has been cut.
Badoyan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McGee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGee closes the distance and pushes Badoyan back into the cage.
McGee lands with a short shot to the head.
Badoyan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

enabling McGee to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Tigran Badoyan has been cut.
Badoyan closes the distance and clinches up with McGee, looking for a takedown. Badoyan pushes McGee against the cage but McGee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Badoyan connects with a leg kick. McGee looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Badoyan cracks McGee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Badoyan lands a big head kick that sends McGee tumbling to the mat! Badoyan takes a step backwards and waves McGee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McGee is rocked!

McGee throws the left hand but Badoyan avoids the punch easily.
McGee throws a body punch but Badoyan moves out of range.
Badoyan throws a jab but it's blocked by McGee.
A little feinted left hand from McGee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Nice body kick from Badoyan.
Badoyan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGee circles away quickly and effectively.
McGee has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Badoyan.
A nice inside leg kick there by Badoyan. That's going to slow McGee down.
McGee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Badoyan can pounce on him.
Badoyan throws a push kick but McGee slaps the foot to one side.

and McGee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McGee connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice straight punches there by Badoyan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Badoyan.

McGee sends Badoyan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McGee is motioning to the referee to let Badoyan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Badoyan is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. McGee engages and cracks Badoyan with a massive lead left hook - Badoyan tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! McGee is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
