Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rikiya Sonoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonoda paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Morgan closes the distance and clinches.
Sonoda keeps control of Morgan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Sonoda throws a leg kick which misses Morgan's front leg but catches the back leg as Morgan tries to avoid it.

Sonoda lands a high kick to the side of Morgan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sonoda dives into guard, looking to finish.
Sonoda passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Sonoda scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Morgan is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sonoda can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rikiya Sonoda!
