Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simo Supermies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stirling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Supermies might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to D12 - Fight Music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Simo Supermies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Stirling!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Supermies avoids a kick to the body.

Stirling gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Supermies throws a big right hand that misses.
Supermies throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stirling can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Supermies controls the pace.
Stirling looking to hit a scissor sweep but Supermies is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Supermies slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Supermies changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stirling looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Supermies is trying to ground and pound but Stirling uses the momentary lack of control by Supermies to regain half guard.

Supermies postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stirling is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Supermies, into his guard.

Supermies looks to clinch
and Stirling counters with a series of strikes. Supermies will be more careful next time no doubt.
Supermies tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stirling defends well and Supermies ends up having to push Stirling into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Supermies wants to pass the guard but Stirling is defending well.

Supermies is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stirling has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Stirling stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stirling wants it to stay on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Stirling jabs Supermies to the body, keeping him at a distance.

A little jabbing left from Stirling on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Supermies tries for a takedown but Stirling sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stirling fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Supermies looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stirling lands a right hook to the body.
Stirling throws a good cross that connects.
Stirling lands a jab to Supermies's midsection.
Stirling connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stirling thuds his right hand into Supermies's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Supermies has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stirling.

Jack Stirling is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Stirling connects with a good right hand that stumbles Supermies. Supermies circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oh Supermies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Simo Supermies's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Supermies takes a swing at Stirling's ribcage but misses.
Supermies seems to have got his legs back now.
Stirling lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Supermies looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stirling is fending him off so far but Supermies persists. Nope, Stirling circles away and we're back to standing.

Stirling throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Supermies stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stirling. Supermies shrugs it off though.

I've got Stirling winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
