Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Panupong Singsurat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Miles Cox!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singsurat jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Cox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Singsurat appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Cox throws a head kick but Singsurat moves out of range.
Singsurat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cox swivels and escapes.
Despite the aggression on Cox's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Singsurat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cox tries to avoid it but Singsurat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cox to the ground. Cox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Singsurat manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cox on his heels. He'll look to pass Cox's guard now, I'm sure.

Singsurat sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cox's guard.

Singsurat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cox is in trouble now - Singsurat has advanced to mount!
Cox is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Singsurat takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cox is in all sorts of trouble here.

Singsurat is working for a guillotine from mount but Cox frees his head quite easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Panupong Singsurat will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Singsurat ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Singsurat no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Singsurat has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Singsurat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cox can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Singsurat wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Miles Cox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Panupong Singsurat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cox throws a strike but Singsurat rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Singsurat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
