I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trap Door. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Britian scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Britian throws a right and a left that Mendez avoids nicely.
As Britian tries to get set, Mendez tries to push him back and clinch up but Britian manages to avoid the attempt.

Mendez has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mendez lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Britian is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mendez scores with a couple of nice shots.
Mendez is nestled in close to Britian, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mendez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Britian sees it coming and defends easily.

Mendez is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Britian is hurt! He's hurt bad - Mendez fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Britian from any more punishment! Congratulations to Mendez! Great finish!
