The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Szpilka moves into the clinch successfully.
Szpilka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Randolph walks away with a smile on his face. Szpilka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Szpilka misses with a series of wild punches.

Randolph tries to pull guard but Szpilka won't allow it.
Szpilka tries to land knees in the clinch but Randolph avoids the damage to the body.
Randolph is trying to stall.
Randolph stops a takedown attempt from Szpilka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Szpilka tries to stall but Randolph uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Randolph tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Szpilka smiles and moves away.

Randolph tightens his grip and picks Szpilka up, before dumping him to the ground. Szpilka manages to land in guard.

Randolph gets to his feet. Szpilka looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Szpilka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
