Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Fulgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamati Ngata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fulgore comes to the cage accompanied by WINDS OF PLAGUE - Open The Gates Of Hell . Ngata is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Maori Haka. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulgore throws a right hand that Ngata ducks under and follows up with a left that Ngata also avoids with ease.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fulgore throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fulgore has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fulgore missing with a left hand there. Ngata was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Fulgore throws a body punch but Ngata moves out of range.
It seemed like Ngata was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fulgore finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ngata is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
