Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Muuli Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Potku might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad Meets Evil - Fast Lane. Suri has chosen Eazy E - Boyz N' Tha Hood as his entrance music. Muuli Potku could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sher Shah Suri's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suri fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Suri misses with a low kick.
Suri lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Potku on the wrong end of a nice hook.

A jab from Potku finds it's way through Suri's defenses.
Suri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Suri misses with a leg kick
enabling Potku to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Suri throws a nice outside leg kick.
Suri rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Potku counters with a good, hard body kick but Suri shrugs it off.
A clash of legs there as Suri blocks the low kick.
Potku swings widly with a right hand
and Suri counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Suri throws out a loose jab but Potku uses good head movement to avoid it.
Suri lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Suri finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sher Shah Suri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Suri there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Suri throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That kick from Suri tenderised Potku's leg. Potku is trying to keep his angry face on.
Suri tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Potku looks to land a left hand but Suri moved out of range nicely.
Suri looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Potku uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suri.

Suri takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Potku counters with a good low kick that Suri was not able to check.

Potku has been working on his boxing with his coaches at VTG Rent a Coach in the buildup to the fight.
Suri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Suri takes one to the chin there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Suri lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Potku has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Potku and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Potku thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Suri if he has to take too many more of those.
Potku throws a shot from downtown. Suri moves away and avoids it.
Suri steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Potku. That one must have hurt.
Potku scores with a shot to the body.
Suri ducks under a wild hook from Potku.
A nice leg kick lands there from Potku.
Potku keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Suri throws a front kick aimed at Potku's knee but Potku avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Suri takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Suri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Potku.
It appears Potku was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sher Shah Suri will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Potku throws a wild body kick that Suri sees coming a mile off.
Suri throws out a counter right but Potku avoids it with no problem.
Potku throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Potku connects with a right hand. Suri shakes it off.
Suri misses with a double jab.
A low kick from Suri is predictable there
and Potku counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Potku bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Suri's head.

and Potku cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That kick from Suri tenderised Potku's leg. Potku is trying to keep his angry face on.
Potku cracks Suri with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Suri is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Suri is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Suri could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Muuli Potku!
An out of breath Muuli Potku thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
