The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heisenberg misses with a low kick.
Heisenberg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
Pietrzak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heisenberg.
A big left from Heisenberg misses.
Pietrzak changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Heisenberg jabs Pietrzak to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Heisenberg lands a leg kick that knocks Pietrzak off balance momentarily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Heisenberg.
Pietrzak misses with a hook. Heisenberg ducked under it nicely.
Pietrzak stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Heisenberg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heisenberg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pietrzak's sensitive parts.
Pietrzak throws a shot from downtown. Heisenberg moves away and avoids it.
Heisenberg fakes the leg kick and cracks Pietrzak in the body.
Heisenberg on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Pietrzak takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pietrzak with the counter takedown but Heisenberg avoids it easily.

Pietrzak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pietrzak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Heisenberg tries to bench press Pietrzak off him but Pietrzak keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Heisenberg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Heisenberg wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pietrzak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pietrzak cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pietrzak fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
