The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blagoev closes the distance and clinches up with Suloev, looking for a takedown. Blagoev pushes Suloev against the cage but Suloev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Suloev bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blagoev's head backwards.

It looks like Vladimir Blagoev has been cut.
Blagoev shoots for a takedown but Suloev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Suloev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blagoev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
