Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Miller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Miller checks a leg kick.
Newton with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Miller misses the jab.
Newton doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.
Miller lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Newton is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.

Miller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Newton doesn't seem bothered though.
Miller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Newton.
That kick from Newton tenderised Miller's leg. Miller is trying to keep his angry face on.
Newton connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Newton throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.
Miller tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Newton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Newton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Newton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well.

Miller has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Miller throws a looping overhand right but Newton ducks down to avoid it.

Bradley Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
