And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lasse shoots in and bounces Retart off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lasse content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lasse wants to pass the guard but Retart is keeping the position.
Retart is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Retart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lasse on the ground.
Retart can't keep his opponent in guard - Lasse advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lasse not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lasse lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lasse is pressing down on Retart's thigh, looking to free his foot. Retart is holding on for now.
Retart tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Retart on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Retart tries to get out of the position.

Lasse is nestled in close to Retart, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Retart tries to roll over but Lasse keeps him under control.
