Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humberto Farley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Penner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Penner will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Penner!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Farley is looking to take this one to the mat.

Penner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Farley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Farley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Penner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Farley is looking for a triangle here but Penner uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Penner has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Farley wants to get back to his feet but Penner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Farley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Farley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Penner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Farley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Penner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Penner gets to his feet - Farley follows without any prompting.

Penner manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Farley on his heels. He'll look to pass Farley's guard now, I'm sure.
Penner stands up over Farley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Farley is working an open guard so Penner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mike Penner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Penner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
