and Emelianenko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Yager is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Emelianenko moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Yager scores with a jab. Emelianenko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Yager stuns Emelianenko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Emelianenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yager.
Yager throws out a loose jab but Emelianenko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Emelianenko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
