Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between EI Foon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, EI Foon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samson Green!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Green manages to avoid it.
Green ducks under a wild hook from Foon.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Green.

and Green decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Foon's guard.
Green controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Green is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Green stays in close to Foon's body and controls the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Foon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Green slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Foon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like Green might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Green moves out of range as Foon throws a body kick.

Green decides to stand back up. Green steps back and let's Foon get back to his feet.
Green misses with a wild combination.
Foon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Green has time to react.
Sloppy strikes from Green. Those never looked like landing.
Foon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Foon.
The fighters circling - Foon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Foon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Green is out of range.
Foon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Green has managed to clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Foon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Foon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Foon bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samson Green dominated that round.
That's time! Foon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Foon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Foon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Green moves away.
Green doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Foon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Green's sensitive parts.
Green lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Foon circles away quickly and effectively.
Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Foon.
Foon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Good leg kick by Foon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Green connects with a nice looking jab.
Foon scores with a kick to the midsection.

Green scores with a takedown into Foon's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Green is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Let's hope that Green has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Green is continuing to stall.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Green's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Foon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Green.
A thudding body kick lands there by Foon!
Foon throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Green counters with a nice uppercut.

Green clinches up against the cage.
Foon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Green.
Green prevents a body shot from Foon.

Green works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Green is looking to work some ground and pound but Foon has wrist control.

Green is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Green's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Green.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Green closes the distance and clinches.
Green is looking for a takedown.

Foon breaks from the clinch.
Foon throws a leg kick which misses Green's front leg but catches the back leg as Green tries to avoid it.
Foon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Green has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Foon, right into the meat.

Green darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Green decides to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samson Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Green moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Green pushes Foon up against the cage in a clinch.

Foon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
EI Foon is winning the standup battle so far.

Green closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Foon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Green has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Foon.
Green will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Foon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Foon looks to throw a body kick

and Green counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Foon!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Foon trying to remain calm as Green controls from the top position.

Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Foon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Green with the ground and pound from mount.
Green is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Foon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Green takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
