Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, r this town i 101. Voronkoff has chosen System of a Down-Aerials as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie moves into the clinch.
Gracie is trying to trip Voronkoff. He has hold of a leg but Voronkoff is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Voronkoff blocks nicely.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like Andrey Voronkoff has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Voronkoff keeps moving.
Gracie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Voronkoff fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the cage.

Gracie has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Voronkoff uses from the top position.

Voronkoff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
Voronkoff content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Gracie has locked up a guillotine! Gracie's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Voronkoff is holding on here and Gracie must be using up a lot of energy. Voronkoff has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gracie gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Asshole Gracie!
Asshole Gracie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
