Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Parker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Castle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Castle.
Castle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Parker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Parker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Castle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parker only half commits to the counter leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Castle.
Parker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Castle misses with a looping left.
Parker moves away from the strike by Castle.
Castle tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Parker. Castle does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've been told by Castle's head coaches at The GYM (19 elite coaches on the Island !!!) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Parker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Castle closes the distance and clinches.
Parker tries to circle away but Castle has him pinned against the cage.
Castle slowing the pace effectively.
Castle prevents the takedown attempt.
Parker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Parker tries to break free but Castle pushes him back against the cage.
Parker is trying to push Castle away but Castle has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Parker misses with a short punch on the inside.
Castle tries to throw a body punch but Parker avoids it by throwing Castle back against the cage.
Parker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Parker's coach down at The GYM (19 elite coaches on the Island !!!) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Castle swings wildly with an uppercut but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it.

Parker jumps guard.
Parker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parker connects with a nice short shot to Castle's temple.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.

Parker slows the pace down in half guard.
Parker drops an elbow to the side of Castle's head.
Parker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Parker throwing shots but Castle is blocking nicely.

Castle is looking for a sweep. Parker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Parker passes to full mount!
Castle is bucking up trying to escape but Parker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Parker lands a couple of good shots and Castle has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker punches Castle on the ear.
Parker lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Parker punches Castle on the ear.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Castle tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range.
Parker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castle's waist but Castle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Parker off to one side.
Castle is looking to clinch.
Parker changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Parker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Castle is fending him off so far but Parker persists. Nope, Castle circles away and we're back to standing.
Parker cracks a nice hook into Castle's ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Parker.
Castle is looking to counter punch.
Dick Castle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker.
Castle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Castle wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Castle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Castle is looking to slow Parker down with leg kicks.

Castle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Parker to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Peter Parker has got the better of the ground game so far.

Parker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Parker cracks Castle with a solid left hand.
Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Castle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Parker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Parker stands up over Castle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Castle keeping full guard, as Parker tries to pass.

Parker passes Castle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Parker trying to control the action but Castle is working from the bottom.
Parker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Castle!
Parker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Parker lands a big elbow.
Parker with the ground and pound from mount.
Parker is landing with some decent strikes but Castle is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.


Castle is rocked!
Parker lands a big shot there that rocks Castle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oh Castle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big strike lands for Parker! That's really hurt Castle and he's turned his back - Parker keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Parker jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Parker!
Peter Parker really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Vikai Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
