The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Baxter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thorn but Thorn pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thorn throws out a loose jab but Baxter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Baxter thows a body shot but no joy.
Baxter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thorn as he avoids it easily.

Baxter moves in looking to clinch but Thorn pushes him off.

Baxter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thorn sends Baxter crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thorn is motioning to the referee to let Baxter up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Baxter shoots for a double leg takedown but Thorn sprawls well. He's pushed Baxter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mike Thorn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Baxter throws a left and a right that both miss

and Thorn counters with a left hand that sends Baxter to the canvas!

Baxter is rocked!

Teddy Baxter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Thorn tries to free his leg and advance position but Baxter is retaining full guard.
Thorn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Thorn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Thorn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Baxter bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Thorn comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Baxter falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Baxter was out before he hit the floor!
