Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dwayne Maynard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan Fury!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maynard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fury moves into the clinch.
Maynard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Maynard changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fury fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Fury drives through and clinches with Maynard against the cage.
Maynard goes for a takedown attempt but Fury pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Fury shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maynard's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fury wants to control from the top but Maynard keeps moving.
Fury chips away with some ground and pound.
Maynard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fury not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fury wants to stand but Maynard has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fury is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maynard tries to sprawl but Fury drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Fury seems to be working for a kimura but Maynard defends the submission attempt.

Even with his hooks in, Maynard manages to miss with strikes from the back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maynard tries to get the hooks in deep but Fury pushed the leg off.

Fury manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Fury.

Fury is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Maynard is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maynard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fury pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fury manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maynard on his heels. He'll look to pass Maynard's guard now, I'm sure.
Fury is breathing heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maynard is on top in guard.

Maynard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Maynard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fury wants to control but Maynard passes easily into half guard.
Maynard looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Maynard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fury's head.
Maynard winds up and cracks Fury with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fury wants to get back to full guard.
Maynard is nestled in close to Fury, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fury tries to get to full guard but Maynard has control of the leg.
Fury has hold of Maynard's hands but Maynard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Fury wants to control but Maynard is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fury tries to roll over but Maynard keeps him under control.
Maynard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fury wants to get back to his feet.
Fury is looking to get back to full guard here but Maynard has managed to pass to side control instead.
You can see the frustration on Fury's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fury goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fury has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Maynard feints and as Fury raises his hands in defense, Maynard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Maynard winds up and cracks Fury with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Fury pushes Maynard off looking to stand but Maynard dives back in and keeps control.

Maynard gets to mount! Fury was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Bryan Fury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fury winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
