Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dallas Riley will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Worner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dallas Riley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A short right from Riley.
Riley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A head punch on the inside from Worner fails to land.
Worner is trying to drag Riley to the mat but Riley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Worner tries to break the clinch but Riley is controlling the position.

Riley turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Riley just content to control the position.
Worner wants to control but Riley postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riley goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Worner rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Riley's guard! Nice work there by Worner!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Worner wants to pass the guard but Riley is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Worner preventing the sweep.
Riley seems keen to control Worner's posture.
Riley striking off his back but it's not causing Worner any problems.
Riley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Worner manages to get himself to full guard.

Riley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Riley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Riley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Riley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Riley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Worner, up you get!
Worner dives in for a single leg takedown but Riley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Riley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Worner.
Riley steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Worner.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Worner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Riley moves into the clinch.
Riley effectively controlling the action here.

Riley gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riley wants to free his trapped foot but Worner is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Riley is working for a kimura but Worner is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Worner is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Riley jumps into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dallas Riley dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Worner shoots in for a takedown but Riley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Riley misses.

Riley closes the distance and clinches.

Riley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Riley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Riley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Worner is proving hard to escape from.
Worner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Riley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riley gets to his feet. Worner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Austin Worner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Worner goes for a double leg but Riley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Riley continues to drive forward.

Riley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Worner sprawls well initially but Riley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Riley is pressing down on Worner's thigh, looking to free his foot. Worner is holding on for now.

Riley decides to stand and escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Riley clinches up with Worner and pushes him back against the cage.
Riley lands a shot to the body.
Riley blocks an uppercut.

Riley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Riley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Riley pulls Worner in to control the position.
Worner looking to pass the guard.

Riley is looking to cinch up a triangle. Worner throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Riley's body to avoid the submission. Riley has instead reached around Worner's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Riley arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dallas Riley!
