Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wintana Lone Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lone Dog has chosen March of The Dog as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reggie Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wintana Lone Dog!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lester tries to keep at a distance but Lone Dog has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lone Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lester tries for a takedown but Lone Dog sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lone Dog takes the fight into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Lone Dog.
Lone Dog pushes Lester back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lone Dog throws an elbow but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lone Dog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lone Dog moves into the clinch.
Lone Dog presses Lester against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Lester is trying to pull guard but Lone Dog turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lone Dog lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lester backwards.
A right hook to the body lands for Lester.
Lester fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reggie Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lone Dog pulls guard.
Lester trying to control but Lone Dog is working from the bottom.
Lone Dog is pulling down on Lester's head. It's preventing any offense from Lester, at least for the moment.
Lester controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Lester is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lone Dog wants to stand up but Lester is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lone Dog closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lester did well to prevent Lone Dog getting side control.
Lone Dog wants to stand but Lester has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Lester has one foot on Lone Dog's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lester bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

and Lone Dog counters by moving into the clinch.

Lone Dog stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Lone Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lester shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lone Dog as he jumps to the side.

Lester gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lone Dog to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lone Dog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lester lands a decent shot there.

Lester is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Lone Dog tries to break the clinch but Lester is controlling the position.

Lone Dog looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Lone Dog shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lone Dog was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lester pushes Lone Dog away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lone Dog gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lester tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lone Dog wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lone Dog has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lone Dog is looking to take a break and control but Lester is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lone Dog wants to stand but Lester is controlling his arm.
Lester manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lone Dog's best efforts.
Lester flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lone Dog throwing shots but Lester is blocking nicely.

Lester kicks Lone Dog off and gets back to his feet.
Wintana Lone Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lone Dog instigates a clinch.

Lone Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lone Dog tries to break free but Lester pushes him back against the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lone Dog throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lone Dog moves into range and clinches up with Lester.
Reggie Lester has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wintana Lone Dog is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lester.

Wintana Lone Dog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lone Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
