The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paddy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MeOff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
MeOff tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MeOff tries to escape but Paddy is in control.
You can see the frustration on MeOff's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Paddy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. MeOff looks calm but he's in trouble here. Paddy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. MeOff is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Paddy lets go of the hold and MeOff can pop his arm back in it's socket.
