Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as George backs up against the cage.


It looks like Kendrick George has been cut.

Jimenez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
It looks like Jimenez is going to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jimenez wants to work for an arm triangle but George is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
George wants to control but Jimenez passes into side.
Jimenez trying to control the action but George is working from the bottom.
George is looking to regain half guard here but Jimenez keeps moving and retains side control.

Jimenez wants to lay and pray for a moment but George keeps working.

George can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jimenez controls the pace.
George seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Jimenez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

George wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, if George is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
George thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Jimenez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. George gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

George decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jimenez, up you get!

Jimenez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now George is on top in guard.

Jimenez is breathing heavily.
George engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Jimenez wants to sweep here but George controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
George goes for a double leg but Jimenez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jimenez continues to drive forward.

Jimenez is trying to push George away but George has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jimenez goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
George keeps control of Jimenez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jimenez prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendrick George. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jimenez looks to throw an elbow but misses.

George breaks from the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jimenez.

Raul Jimenez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jimenez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
