The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulks moves out of range of the body kick.
Boulks now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

James closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James lands in his opponent's guard.
Boulks wants to get back to his feet but James passes into half guard.
James scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Boulks is trying to stand back up but James is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James wants to control but Boulks is keeping him busy.
James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James cracks Boulks with a big right hand but Boulks just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
James lands a decent elbow from side control.
James advances to mount.
James scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The referee warns Boulks that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

BOOM! James connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Oooooh, big shot lands for James! Boulks is hurt baaadly! James is firing away with more strikes - Boulks is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
