Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Mcdaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seto Takiama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdaniel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takiama as he avoids it easily.
Takiama shoots in for a double leg but Mcdaniel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takiama.
Mcdaniel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takiama is fending him off so far but Mcdaniel persists. Nope, Takiama circles away and we're back to standing.
Takiama is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mcdaniel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mcdaniel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcdaniel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takiama on the ground.
Takiama passes Mcdaniel's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Takiama drops back looking for a leg! Mcdaniel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcdaniel manages to kick Takiama off! Takiama jumps back into Mcdaniel's guard.
Mcdaniel throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Takiama drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcdaniel looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcdaniel looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcdaniel!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here as Mcdaniel stalls from top position.
Mcdaniel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Takiama drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Takiama as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Mcdaniel screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Takiama! Nice submission victory there!
