Munchkin told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Hyypia throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Munchkin swings wildly with an uppercut but Hyypia uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hyypia doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hyypia scores with a shoulder strike.
Hyypia digs a right hand underneath Munchkin's ribcage. Munchkin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hyypia lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Munchkin is rocked!
Hyypia drops Munchkin onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Munchkin is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Munchkin is still on wobbly legs! Can Hyypia finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyypia lands a body shot in the clinch.
Hyypia creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Munchkin with a big uppercut! Munchkin tries to clinch up but Hyypia pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Munchkin to the mat! Munchkin covers up and Hyypia unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
