Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruarc Lacy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryce Caron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ruarc Lacy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryce Caron!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lacy clinches up with Caron and pushes him back against the cage.

Caron is nestled in close to Lacy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lacy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Caron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Caron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've been hearing good reports from Lacy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lacy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Caron is aware though and is defending well.

Lacy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Caron is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lacy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ruarc Lacy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Caron looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lacy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Caron is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lacy is just riding it out for now. Caron eventually gives up the hold.

Caron is working for a submission of some sort.

I've got Caron winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
