The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Kovalenko tenderised Boykiy's leg. Boykiy is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kovalenko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Boykiy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kovalenko tries to land a front kick but Boykiy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nikolai Kovalenko is winning the standup battle so far.
Boykiy throws a body shot but no joy.
Kovalenko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boykiy tries to close the distance and clinch but Kovalenko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boykiy motions for Kovalenko to come forward. Boykiy throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Boykiy lands a big head kick that sends Kovalenko tumbling to the mat! Boykiy takes a step backwards and waves Kovalenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Boykiy throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Oh Kovalenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boykiy drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kovalenko right on the button. Kovalenko goes down! Boykiy follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Boykiy gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dimas Boykiy!
