Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nam Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Blake could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nam Le's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nam Le!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le has his takedown stuffed

and Blake counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Le!
Blake connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Le some visible discomfort.
Le sneaks back into half guard.
Blake throwing shots but Le is blocking nicely.
Blake wants to free his trapped foot but Le is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Blake wants to pass to mount but Le is defending the position.

Blake wants to work for an arm triangle but Le is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Le can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Le is looking for a sweep. Blake is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
