The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

and Shirosaki counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Shirosaki might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, if Shirosaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Shirosaki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Shirosaki is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Young is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Young flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Shirosaki anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Young and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Shirosaki slips an arm under Young chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Shirosaki has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Shirosaki is squeezing on Young like an anaconda would it's prey. Young fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
