PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between cj charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mord Atlas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). charles comes to the cage accompanied by cant be stopped. Mord Atlas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from charles. No joy for Atlas on that attempt.

and Atlas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in charles's guard.

Atlas has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of charles is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

charles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Atlas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Atlas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

charles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Atlas's guard.

Atlas wants to get back to his feet.
charles wants to pass to mount but Atlas is defending the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
