Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horace Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Fatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Horace Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Fatta!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sosa as he jumps to the side.
Fatta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fatta shoots in for a takedown but Sosa shows good takedown defense.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sosa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fatta walks away with a smile on his face. Sosa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fatta motions for Sosa to come forward. Fatta throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Fatta has Sosa up against the cage in a clinch.
Sosa fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fatta is trying to break free.
Fatta can't get the takedown.
Horace Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Burt Fatta.

Sosa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sosa wants it to stay on the feet.

Sosa darts in looking for a takedown but Fatta gets double underhooks and turns Sosa into the cage.

Sosa shoots in looking for a takedown but Fatta manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sosa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fatta is looking to clinch but Sosa is avoiding it.
Fatta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sosa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fatta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sosa, pushing him back against the cage.

Fatta wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving.

Sosa pulls Fatta in close to prevent any damage.
Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fatta passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Sosa is looking to regain half guard here but Fatta keeps moving and retains side control.
Sosa can't do much from the bottom here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sosa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fatta wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Fatta is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Sosa still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Sosa has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

That was a close round but I would say that Horace Sosa will probably get the nod.

Fatta drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sosa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fatta has Sosa in his guard.

Fatta lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Sosa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fatta misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Sosa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fatta can do to turn this around?

Sosa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fatta is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

I would just about give that final round to Burt Fatta.
