The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Krawczyk is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Krawczyk wants to clinch.
Krawczyk throws a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Krawczyk shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Filipy Krawczyk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Krawczyk throws out the jab.
Krawczyk throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Krawczyk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Smith is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Krawczyk is trying to escape and Smith transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Krawczyk is forced to tap! Nice work there by Smith! Very nice indeed!
